How LetsGoRef gets in touch
Nobody at LetsGoRef will ever contact you to request a password or verification code to your account. If you have any questions or concerns about security, send an email to [email protected].
How LetsGoRef helps protect your financial information
We use encryption to help protect your account information and monitor your account activity. We never see or store personal banking or PayPal information, as the validation of that information is handled through APIs directly with our payment processor Dwolla or PayPal. All critical personal information is encrypted beyond minimum industry standards and we reconcile all transactions to monitor and we use a complex series of hosting configurations, firewalls, and encryption key techniques all designed to protect against unauthorized access and keep information in transit safe. While we’d love to explain in more detail, the simple act of publicly sharing how we have architected our security would only serve to reduce the level of that same security. If you are an active or potential client with concerns about our security, we understand, and encourage you to request a confidential meeting where we can share more details under non-disclosure protections and secure channels. Simply send a meeting request to [email protected] or arrange through you assigned account manager.
Keep yourself safe
LetsGoRef is designed for one-way payments from a business or person to an individual or business they have hired as a sub-contract. This one-way nature of payments acts much more like a payroll system, and is not intended to function as a peer-to-peer payment platform. All funds processed by us from a payor are fully deposited to the payee’s bank or PayPal account, with no balance carried or ability for the payee to redirect payments through LetsGoRef to others. As a payor on LetsGoRef, if you ever suspect unauthorized access to your account, you should log in immediately and disconnect your funding source, change your password, and contact us at [email protected]. As a recipient of payments via LetsGoRef, if you suspect unauthorized access to your account, you should confirm the correct bank or PayPal account is still active, change your password, and contact us at [email protected]. In all cases, LetsGoRef strongly recommends keeping your two-factor authentication active, as the most likely way any fraudulent activity could take place with your account - like any other financial service you use online - is if someone gains access to your account login credentials directly and uses it to redirect funds.
